Марко Милачић

Марко Милачић рођен је 1985. године у Подгорици. Завршио је Факултет политичких наука.

Милачић је један од најперспективнијих представника млађе генерације политичара у региону, храбар и спреман да се бори за своја увјерења. У Црној Гори слови за једног од највећих критичара актуелног режима. Као дугогодишњи борац за бољу Црну Гору, политички чист и неукаљан, има велику подршку, нарочито међу младим људима.

Прије политике, десет година се бавио новинарством. Објављује колумне и коментаре у бројним домаћим и страним гласилима.

Оснивач је и донедавни извршни директор Покрета за неутралност Црне Горе, организације коју је почетком 2014. године покренула група младих интелектуалаца. Познат је као неко ко одржава добре односе са политичарима, прије свега млађе генерације, из цијелог региона, али и истакнутим активистима и појединцима. Ради на повезивању читавог региона и успостављају веза које су у ранијем периоду биле нарушене.

Учесник је бројних новинарских школа, програма и курсева, као и семинара о политици, безбједности и људским правима у земљи и иностранству.

Дугогодишњи је члан Црвеног крста Црне Горе.

Прошле године објавио је књигу "Зашто Мило није битан" која је постигла велики успјех, као једна од најпродаванијих књига у издању дневника "Вијести".

Отац Драгослав радни вијек провео је бавећи се новинарством. Мајка Славица је дипломирани економиста. Деда, по очевој линији, Љубиша Милачић, послужио је писцу Михаилу Лалићу као прототип за главног јунака романа "Свадба", Тадију Чемеркића.

Марко је ожењен Жаном Прашчевић Милачић, адвокатицом.

Имају синове Вука и Давида.

Biography of Marko Milačić

Milačić is one of the most recognized activists against NATO alliance in former Yugoslavian countries, a man who is known as one of the most talented representatives among younger politicians in the Balkans region: energetic, charismatic and principled, ready to sacrifice for his beliefs. In Montenegro, Milačić impersonates one of the toughest critics of Milo Đukanović regime, but also one of the greatest supporters of better relations with Serbia and Russia. As a long year fighter for better Montenegro, politically clean and unsoiled, earned a great support, especially among young people.

He was a founder and a leader of political group Resistance to hopelessness, founder, member of steering committee, and former executive of Montenegrin Movement for neutrality, an organization that was founded by a group of young intellectuals in 2014. He is known as a person who has great relations with famous young politician generation in entire Balkans region, but also with various political activists and intellectuals. Milačić works on connecting of region and rebuilding of relations that were ruined over last decades.

He also organized and took participation in various protests and other kinds of civil disobedience, which got him arrested many times. Recently he spent twenty days in jail because of his actions against NATO occupation of Montenegro. Then, in front of prison gate, before entering, he burned NATO flag as an act of protest, but this action also burned the media in region.

Before politics, he worked for ten years as a journalist. He worked in national broadcasting company, where he was an editor, journalist and presenter in foreign policy redaction and one of the editors of foreign policy magazine called "The Globe". For four years he wrote for independent Montenegrin weekly "Monitor". Also wrote for many regional magazines.

Milačić took action in many journalists programs, courses, sections, seminars on politics, security and human rights in country and over boarders. He is a member of Montenegrin Red cross organization, and a first aid instructor.

He studied journalism in Faculty of political sciences, specialized the same course.

Last year he published a book "Why Milo (Djukanovic) is irrelevant" which was one of the bestsellers in publisher distribution in country. After getting out of prison he announced publishing a new book, which was actually written in jail.

Nowadays, Milačić is leader of political party True Montenegro (Prava Crna Gora), which was founded six months ago. For that time, Milačić was presidential candidate, and, after just of two months of his party existing he gained 3% (10 000 votes). Month after that, his party True Montenegro, took a participation in local elections, and made a success by entering into local parliaments in several cities all around Montenegro.

Marko Milačić is married, father of two children, Vuk and David.
